A BIT OF ME, ON WAX

Music plays a significant role in my daily life, so I wanted to bring that passion into my portfolio in a meaningful way. I created a custom vinyl featuring a curated selection of my favourite tracks - songs that reflect who I am, both personally and creatively.

As I may not always be present to talk through my work in person, this vinyl offers an alternative introduction. It provides a glimpse into my personality, values, and creative influences, helping viewers connect with the person behind the portfolio.
It’s more than just a playlist; it’s a personal design statement that transforms sound into storytelling.

Drawing inspiration from the layered, colourful textures I previously explored in my university magazine, I carried that visual language into the vinyl insert, creating a cohesive yet evolved expression of my design style. This approach highlights my versatility across formats, from editorial to packaging and personal storytelling.

The use of vibrant, layered elements reflects the diversity of the projects enclosed within, creating a tactile and engaging experience for the viewer. Yellow, my favourite colour, plays a central role in the design. Its warmth, optimism, and energy felt like the perfect visual metaphor for my personality and creative outlook.

This insert serves not only as a project showcase but as a continuation of a design identity that is playful, thoughtful, and unmistakably mine.
